CRO PRESIDENT FORWARDS LETTER OF CONGRATULATIONS TO YELTSIN

ZAGREB, July 4 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Thursday forwarded a letter of congratulations to President Boris Yeltsin in occasion of his election as President of the Russian Federation. "On behalf of the Croatian Government, people and myself, it is my particular pleasure to forward to you the sincerest congratulations and best wishes in occasion of your election as the President of the Russian Federation at the first democratic presidential elections", the letter said. "I believe that under your leadership, the development of the democratic system of the Russian Federation will continue, to the benefit of all citizens of your country and the cooperation and peace in the whole international community, and that the friendly relations between our two countries will continue to develop successfully for their common well-being".
