CROATIA CONDEMNS TERRORIST ATTACK IN LUXOR ( Editorial: --> 1841 )

( Editorial: --> 1841 ) ZAGREB, Nov 18 (Hina) - The Croatian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday issued a statement condemning Monday's terrorist attack on tourists in Luxor and expressing deepest condolences to the victims' families, their countries' governments and to the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Terrorism in its blindness does not chose its targets and the victims are most frequently innocent persons who happen to be at the place of the attack. The assault on people who wanted to get to know ancient Egyptian culture is a strike primarily to the country itself, and the brutality of the act is shocking, the statement said. The Foreign Ministry also warned tourist agencies and their employees, and especially Croatian tourists planning to visit Egypt, about a higher safety risk in travelling to central and south Egypt.
