ZAGREB, 18 Nov (Hina) - Croatian Parliament Speaker Vlatko Pavletic
received the Turkish Ambassador Daryal Batibay for a working visit
on Tuesday, the Parliament public relations office said in a
statement.
The two officials agreed that a Turkish parliamentary delegation,
led by Parliament Speaker Hikmet Cetin, would visit Croatia in
January, 1998.
During his visit to Croatia, Cetin will visit Zagreb and the
Croatian port of Rijeka, where he will open a Turkish embassy. He is
also to visit Dubrovnik.
Ambassador Batibay handed to Pavletic a letter by the Turkish
President Suleyman Demirel, thanking for a warm welcome he received
during his visit to Croatia in September this year.
