ZAGREB, Nov 12 (Hina) - The remains of warrant officer Tomislav
Papp, 28, member of the 204th Vukovar Brigade and one of identified
victims from the Ovcara mass grave, were buried at the Mirosevac
Cemetery in Zagreb on Wednesday in the presence of family, fellow
soldiers and friends.
A military police honorary platoon fired three salvoes in Papp's
honour. Fellow soldiers, a representative of the Croatian defense
ministry and the parish priest of Vukovar's district of Borovo paid
their last respects.
After seizing the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar in November
1991, members of the Yugoslav People's Army and Serb rebel units led
away the wounded from Vukovar Hospital and killed them at the Ovcara
farm near Vukovar. They were buried in one grave, from which 200
bodies have been exhumed this year.
