ZAGREB, Oct 28 (Hina) - The Croatian Defence Ministry's military
delegation and an Austrian-Swedish military delegation held talks
in Zagreb on Tuesday, the defence ministry said in a statement.
The Austrian-Swedish delegation was headed by Johann Bergers of the
Austrian federal academy, and Croatian representatives were led by
Major-General Ivan Kapular, the head of the office for the
operational management of the Croatian Army's reorganisation.
The two delegations discussed Croatia's defence strategy, the
country's efforts to reorganise its defence system according to
Western standards, the country's bid to join the 'Partnership for
Peace' programme and the NATO, the writing of Croatian White Book as
well as the future cooperation with Austrian and Swedish
institutions for defence and national security.
