MOSTAR, Sept 14 (Hina) - Elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina are
going on much better than anyone in the international community
has expected, a U.S. special envoy, Robert Gelbard, has said.
On Sunday Gelbard visited the polling station in the
central zone of Mostar where voters cast their ballots for
authorities in one of the six Mostar municipalities.
He predicted that implementation of election results would
be critical and added that they must be realised. Gelbard said
that representatives of authorities had committed themselves to
the implementation of election results, and added that his
country and the entire international community would do their
best to convince Bosnian parties of the importance of that
action.
On Saturday the American diplomat visited voting stations
in Brcko and Drvar.
