VUKOVAR, Sept 4 (Hina) - The reintegrated trading firm
"Velepromet" of Vukovar has brought Croatian products, worth
about 800,000 kuna, recently the Vukovar area.
The firm's director, Zvonimir Ivanisevic, said on Thursday
that products offered to that market included different goods
from foodstuffs to consumer goods. Luxury goods are not yet
offered to the market due to not developed purchasing power of a
local population.
The market accepted Croatian products, Ivanisevic said and
described the cooperation with INTAES as good.
According to him, before the war this firm had about a
hundred shops in the area, and only 18 of them are working now.
Out of about 700 workers, 158 were expelled during the Serb
aggression. At the moment 125 employees are working in Vukovar.
