ZAGREB, July 14 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa received
an invitation from his Slovene counterpart, Janez Drnovsek, on Monday to
attend as a guest a summit of the heads of government of Central
European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) countries in Portoroz on September
12-13, the government public relations office said in a statement.
"I am confident that your participation will contribute to the
further development of economic cooperation between the countries of
Central and Eastern Europe.
"I also believe that cooperation within the framework of CEFTA
represents a good preparation of our countries for further integration
into the European Union," Drnovsek said in his letter.
