POLLING STATIONS
WASHINGTON, June 10 (Hina) - Croatian citizens who on Croatian
presidential election day, 15 June, happen to be in the United States,
will be able to cast their ballots at ten polling stations in the U.S.,
the Croatian Embassy in Washington said in a statement on Wednesday,
adding that permission for voting in the U.S. was granted by the U.S.
State Secretary's Office.
Voter lists are compiled by the Croatian Embassy in Washington, and
general consulates in New York, Cleveland and Los Angeles. All persons
with the right to vote will be able to register even on election day. To
register and to vote, it is necessary to show a Croatian document. In
case the document does not carry a photo, an additional one, with a
photo, will have to be produced, the statement by the Croatian Embassy
in Washington concluded.
