GENEVA, March 18 (Hina) - On Tuesday, a Croatian delegation, was
conducting intensive negotiations and consultations, in Geneva, on
Croatia's bid for admission to the World Trade Organisation (WTO)
as soon as possible.
The head of the Croatian intellectual ownership bureau, Nikola
Kopcic, Croatian diplomats in Geneva, and a U.S. mission, on
Tuesday discussed preparations for reaching an agreement on the
protection of intellectual ownership between the two countries.
The Croatian delegation finished consultations on contents of
Croatian trade and customs law.
Klaus Kautzor-Schroeder, a special advisor who helps Croatia
to adjust its national legislature, has arrived in Zagreb on
Tuesday for a several-day mission when he is expected to express
his evaluations and recommendations to the Economy Ministry as
regards above-mentioned laws as well as other regulations which
should be adopted for Croatia's admission to the WTO.
