LONDON, March 8 (Hina) - Croatian inventors won three gold medals, out of 10
awarded, and three special awards at the 4th international fair of inventors
in London.
Croatian participants got a special award for the best joint
presentation, and a special award from the British association of industrial
engineers, the head of Zagreb inventors' association, Hrvoje Mazija said on
Saturday.
An inventor from Zagreb, Dubravko Doblanovic, received a gold medal
and a special award for his invention-product called "Crobox", a system of
floating geometric units.
Another inventor from Rijeka, Bruno Calic, was awarded by a gold medal
for his system of constructing called "Crocka" and Dr. Nenad Siljeg, a
surgeon, won also a gold medal for a 'Tornado' solution that can prevent
coagulation of blood during operations.
Eleven Croatian inventors participated at the 6-9 March London fair.
