SPLIT, Mar 7 (Hina) - Split County Prefect Kruno Peronja on
Friday morning received Hungarian Ambassador to Croatia and
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Zsolt Szalay. Also present at the meeting
were the representatives of the County's Association of
Hungarians.
Peronja informed Szalay about the characteristics of this
part of southern Croatia and pointed out the contribution of
the Association of Hungarians, who from the very beginning
supported the establishment of independent Croatia.
Szalay said that Hungary supported the establishment of
Croatian sovereignty all over its territory with great
pleasure.
The Hungarian Ambassador was also received by the Mayor
of Split, Nikola Grabic.
