BUDAPEST, Feb 27 (Hina) - Chief-of-staff of the Croatian Army,
Lt. Gen. Pavao Miljavac, on Thursday arrived in Hungary for a
two-day official visit.
After a ceremonious reception before the building of the
Hungarian Defense Ministry, Miljavac laid a wreath at the
Heroes Square in Budapest.
During the afternoon the Croatian delegation will be
received by the commander of the Hungarian Home Guard and
chief-of-staff of the Hungarian Army, Lt. Gen. Ferenc Vegh.
After that the Croatian and Hungarian delegations will discuss
the development of cooperation between the armies of the two
countries in 1997, plans of integration into NATO and other
topics of common interest.
The Croatian delegation will today also be received by
the president of the Hungarian parliamentary defense
committee, Imre Mecs.
