MOSTAR, 13 Feb (Hina) - Following distressing events in Mostar, the Stabilization Force (SFOR) has taken measures aimed at creating and maintaining public security in the town and its surrounding areas, press office of the SFOR

The measures include the confiscation of illegally
carried light weapons and the removal of illegal check-points
at separation lines.
SFOR proposes that persons, who were evicted from their
flats, should return to their flats and supports the
International Police Task Force (IPTF), Organization for
Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the U.N. High
Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), who are helping the evicted
return to their homes.
SFOR also reminds the local media of their obligation to
first check information and not publish partisan reports.
