SARAJEVO, Feb 10 (Hina) - A member of Bosnia-Herzegovina's
presidency and the (Croat-Moslem) Bosnian Federation President,
Kresimir Zubak, on Monday requested that persons responsible for
Mostar incidents should be uncovered and also that new
confrontations should be prevented.
A statement issued by Zubak's office this evening said that
continuous media campaign and armed provocations and incidents in
the last few weeks had resulted in an armed confrontation in Mostar
streets with tragic consequences, despite appeals for calming down
tensions and showing common sense.
Zubak advocated an objective investigation, carried out by mix
police forces and experts, into the real course of events.
He called on most responsible Bosnian Moslem and Croat
officials in Mostar to take all necessary measures to prevent
clashes.
