ZAGREB, Feb 19 (Hina) - The mayor of Sibenik, Ante Supuk, and
the co-owner and director of the Italian company "Gruppo
Constanzo", Vincenzo Constanzo, on Wednesday signed an
agreement on cooperation in future investments in the Podi
free trade zone near Sibenik.
The Italian investor is obliged to construct two
factories in Podi - factories of plastic pipes and
prefabricated concrete elements, all of which is worth DM 12
million.
Constanzo said that the production of prefabricated
concrete elements could begin in spring.
Supuk said that due to great interest of Italian
investors, a free zone office is to be opened in Rome.
The Gruppo Constanzo is to construct two factories in the
free trade zone and two outside of it, in the so-called
commercial zone, Supuk said, adding that the signing of
similar agreements with two more companies is to be expected
soon.
Present at the signing was executive director of the
Croatian Agency for the Promotion of Investments, Vanja
Kalogjera.
