CROATIAN OFFICIAL, BOSNIAN AMBASSADOR TALK ABOUT RELATIONS BETWEEN

Autor: ;JN;
BETWEEN $ TWO COUNTRIES ZAGREB, Feb 20 (Hina) - An assistant to Croatian Foreign Minister, Hido Biscevic, on Thursday received Ambassador of Bosnia- Herzegovina in Zagreb, Kasim Trnka, for talks on the current relations between the two countries, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The completion of peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danubian area and further implementation of the agreement on normalization of relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia would have a positive impact on the entire peace process and stabilization of developments as well as on the consolidation of peace in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Croatian official said. In this respect, Croatia fully supported the consistent implementation of the Washington and Dayton accords, and believed that the strengthening of the (Croat-Moslem) Bosnian Federation and the functioning of central institutions of Bosnia were crucial for the implementation of the accords, Biscevic added. De-centralisation of Bosnia, the establishment and functioning of legal institutions, the ovecoming of local interests, and the objective reports by media should remain the strong interest of both partners in the Federation, according to Biscevic. Biscevic and Trnka agreed that on this basis mistrust between the Croat and Bosniak (Moslem) parties should be overcome and the Federation should be strengthened additionally as a key to the peace process and the integrity of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
