ZAGREB, Feb 28 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Ministry secretary Zoran Piculjan
received Yugoslav charge d'affaires Veljko Knezevic in Zagreb on Wednesday,
a Foreign Ministry statement said.
Piculjan relayed a proposal by the Croatian government that groups of
experts from both countries should hold meetings in early March to discuss
border issues, a consular convention, an agreement on international legal
aid, and transport and economic issues.
The meetings would be in line with agreements between Foreign
Ministers Mate Granic of Croatia and Milan Milutinovic of Yugoslavia in
Belgrade last week, with the aim of re-intensifying the process of
normalizing the relations between the two countries.
Knezevic was handed a note with a precisely defined schedule of
meetings and was asked to inform his government so that all technical
preparations could be made as soon as possible.
Knezevic agreed that it was necessary to implement all agreements
successfully and announced a response from the Yugoslav government.
