The number of warehouses in which it was allowed to hold heavy
weapons would be considerably reduced by the end of the year, SFOR
spokesman Tony White said in Sarajevo on Friday.
By 15 February, all sides would have to report on weapons they
had not reported on yet and put it under control of NATO soldiers,
White said.
General Roderick Cordy-Simpson, deputy to the SFOR chief
commander for military operations, on Friday called a meeting in
the Sarajevo suburb of Ilidza between generals Zivko Budimir, Rasim
Delic and Pero Colic, in order to present them with new requests.
There would be no negotiations whatsoever about those measures
and requests, White said.
It will be demanded from the commanders of the three armies to
finally start removing more than six million mines that had been
laid in the region during the war.
