PRISTINA, Sept 23 (Hina) - Serbian security forces resumed
attacking Kosovo Albanian villages in the Glogovac and Srbica
areas, the Kosovo Information Centre (KIC) reported on Wednesday.
Kosovo Democratic Alliance sources in Srbica reported that Serbian
forces were setting fire to the villages of Poluzhe and Shtutice,
and began a shelling attack against Baks and Qireze, villages with
several dozen thousands Kosovo Albanian refugees.
Morina and Rezala, other villages in the Drenica area, were also
being shelled.
The KIC said the said villages were on fire, but that no data was
available on victims.
The Wednesday morning Serbian offensive in the Srbica, Glogovac,
Vucitrn triangle resulted in a new wave of refugees.
Kosovo Democratic Alliance sources in Klina reported that close to
20,000 residents of Srbica and Glogovac Municipalities had fled
their homes seeking safety in forests on Vucak Mountain in Klina
Municipality.
