PRISTINA, Aug 4 (Hina) - Serbian forces continued attacks on
several villages in Kosovo's Djakovica municipality last night and
on Tuesday.
The Kosovo Information Centre said strong Serbian military, police
and paramilitary forces were using all available weaponry in the
attacks.
Albanian sources said that because of the Serbian attacks, up to now
11 villages near the border with Albania had been destroyed, while
the population had fled from another 15 villages of the Djakovica
municipality.
In Djakovica itself about 30,000 Albanian refugees had arrived from
affected regions of the municipality.
The Democratic Alliance of Kosovo said battles were continuing near
the Albanian border and in villages in the Dushakaja district.
If is feared that there maybe more victims from these battles.
