ZAGREB, July 14 (Hina) - Problems of the organised emigration of
Croatian citizens to third countries was the central topic of talks
held in Zagreb on Tuesday between representatives of the Croatian
Government and the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in
Europe (OSCE) Mission to Croatia.
Also discussed was the removal of obstacles to cooperation with
international organisations.
The talks were attended by the government Office for Cooperation
with the OSCE head Tomislav Vidosevic, OSCE Mission first deputy
head Victor Tomseth, Knin Mayor Josko Odak and Sibenik-Knin County
deputy prefect Vinko Maric, a statement from the Government
Communications Office said.
Odak used the occasion to state the fact that there were more than 20
international organisations just in the Knin area.
Tomseth proposed that the work of international inter-government
and non-government organisations, including the European
Commission Monitoring Mission (ECMM), be coordinated in the future
with the joint activities of the OSCE and the UN High Commissioner
for Refugees (UNHCR) missions.
It was concluded that a visit of representatives of the Office for
Cooperation with the OSCE and OSCE Mission to the Knin area be
organised as soon as possible.
