ZAGREB, June 15 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic
Monday received the ambassadors of the Organisation for Security
and Cooperation in Europe troika comprised of Poland, Denmark and
Norway accredited at the OSCE seat in Vienna.
The troika was accompanied by the head of the OSCE monitoring
mission in Croatia, Tim Guldimann, said a statement from the
Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Minister Granic informed the ambassadors about the implementation
course of binding instructions for the issuance of documents
necessary in the implementation of the Procedure for the Return of
Persons Who Left the Republic of Croatia.
The Croatian government is intensively working towards a timely
return plan draft to have it ratified in parliament in the envisaged
time, Granic said.
The Croatian government aims towards a successful completion of the
UN Civil Police Support Group mandate in eastern Croatia, in line
with the relevant UN Security Council resolution, the Foreign
Minister said.
He emphasised the situation in the Danube river region in eastern
Croatia is improving daily.
Granic and the OSCE troika also discussed the technical modalities
for continuing with OSCE's monitoring mission, which should take
over part of the activities currently performed by the UN Civil
Police Support Group.
