ZAGREB, July 13 (Hina) - The Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Monday sent a letter to the French President Jacques Chirac
congratulating him on France's victory in the soccer World Cup.
On my own behalf and on the behalf of the Croatian Government and
people, I extend sincere congratulations to you and the French
national team, the letter reads.
President Tudjman also thanked President Chirac for the
hospitality he and the Croatian delegation enjoyed during their
visit to France.
