ZAGREB, July 4 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Saturday left for Lyon where he will attend the World Cup soccer
quarter-final match between Croatia and Germany.
"I am leaving to see the victory we are all expecting," Tudjman told
reporters.
Stressing that Croatia's Goran Ivanisevic has reached the tennis
finals at Wimbledon for the third time, Tudjman said, "there, you
see, Croatia has something to be proud of".
Travelling with Tudjman are the presidential Chief-of-Staff Hrvoje
Sarinic, President's advisor for internal politics, Ivic Pasalic,
chairman of the Zagreb City Assembly Zlatko Canjuga and other
political and sports officials.
