ZAGREB, July 2(Hina)- The marking of vacant and damaged houses in
the Croat village of Dubravice Donje, Republika srpska, on
Thursday, officially opened the process of the return of refugees
to that village. On Friday the marking will be extended to the Croat
village of Krepsic and reconstruction will begin in the immediate
future, Luka Lucic, president of the reconstruction and
development department at the municipality of Ravne-Brcko told the
Habena news agency.
According to Lucic, supervisor Robert Farrand had announced that by
31 August all the refugees presently in the supervised areas would
be allowed to move into their houses, if they are still vacant.
Lucic added that the first 39 Croats received a permission to return
to their houses in the Croat village of Gorica, RS.
