ZAGREB, April 28 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Tuesday received the outgoing Slovenian Ambassador to Croatia,
Matija Malesic.
Tudjman ordained Malesic with the order of Prince Branimir, and
thanked him on behalf of the Croatian Government and people for his
contribution to the development of good neighbourly relations
between the two countries.
Matesic congratulated Tudjman and the Croatian people for
everything they had achieved in the past years during the great
historical changes.
He stressed that he hoped the upcoming visit of President Tudjman to
Slovenia would give another stimulus to the resolution of issues
between the two countries' that had not been completely solved.
Also present at the reception were the presidential chief-of-
staff, Hrvoje Sarinic, the presidential advisor for foreign
affairs, Neven Madey, and head of the president's cabinet, Gordan
Radin.
