TRUCK STOWAWAYS UNCOVERED IN CAKOVEC

( Editorial: --> 3954 ) CAKOVEC, April 1 (Hina) - Customs officials at the Cakovec railway station on Wednesday discovered eight "stowaways" on board a goods train carrying trucks. The train was travelling along the Hungary- Croatia-Slovenia-Italy line. The Romanian citizens, all men aged between 20 and 30, were found in inside a truck with Romanian registration plates, and they were hidden among drilling posts. Sharp-eyed customs officials noticed a cut in the covering of a carriage, even though it was taped over. This caused them to closely inspect trucks inside the carriage.
