TUZLA, April 28 (Hina) - The Tuzla-Doboj road (in northern Bosnia),
which was blocked on Sunday evening by Bosniaks (Muslims) and
Serbs, was opened to traffic again last night.
International Police Task Force (IPTF) spokesman in Tuzla, Andrea
Angeli, on Tuesday said that Bosniaks removed obstacles from the
road voluntarily around 8pm last night, an hour after the Nordic-
Polish brigade removed obstacles on the Serb side.
Joint patrols of local and international police forces are
patrolling this part of the separation zone and the situation is
under control now. Tensions have subsided and the road has been
opened to traffic, Angeli said.
The entrance to Doboj was blocked for almost 24 hours after two
bombs were thrown at Serb civilians from the village of Svjetleca,
near Doboj.
Five persons were injured in the incident.
IPTF still has no information on the perpetrators.
