ZAGREB, April 23 (Hina) - A delegation was selected by the Croatian
Government on Thursday to represent the country at a special
session of the United Nations General Assembly which will discuss
fighting drug abuse.
The 20th extraordinary session will be held in New York from June 8
to 10.
The Croatian delegation will be lead by Deputy Prime Minister Ivica
Kostovic and also includes Croatia's permanent representative to
the United Nations, Ivan Simonovic, National Commission for
Fighting Drugs chairman Slavko Sakoman and member Sanja Bujas
Juraga, and Josko Klisovic, first-secretary at Croatia's permanent
mission to the UN.
Meanwhile, the Government has authorised the Health Ministry to
donate funds for the building of a Croat hospital, "Dr. fra Mato
Nikolic", in Nova Bila in central Bosnia.
And it has named Vera Varga to head the new Office for European
Integration.
