CROATIAN GOVERNMENT ENDORSES AGREEMENT WITH BECHTEL

( Editorial: --> 4260 ) ZAGEB, April 2 (Hina) - In its session on Thursday the Croatian Government endorsed an in-principle agreement with the American construction company Bechtel International Inc. on the construction of a motorway between Bregana and Dubrovnik via Zagreb. The document contains an agreement on design construction and financing of three legs of the motorway between Bregana at Croatia's border with Slovenia and its border with Bosnia- Herzegovina. Reconstruction Minister Jure Radic will sign the agreement on behalf of the Government. The public enterprise Croatian Roads will sign a separate agreement specifying its obligations from the construction agreement with Bechtel, the Government said. In its statement the Government describes the Zagreb-Bihac (in Bosnia)-Dubrovnik motorway as the most important infrastructure project for linking Croatia with Bosnia.
