BRCKO, April 10 (Hina) - Assistant Supervisor for Brcko, Genadin
Shabanyakov, on Friday welcomed the formation of a Commission for
Arbitration on Brcko formed by the Bosnian Serb government, which
includes Bosniak (Muslim) representatives from the area around the
north-eastern Bosnian town.
At a regular news conference, Shabanyakov also expressed hope that
Brcko's Croats would also be included in the Commission's work.
UN and International Police Task Force (IPTF) spokeswoman for
Brcko, Kathy Ladun, explained to reporters the establishment of a
commission for the multi-national police, which would oversee its
organisation and duties. This commission includes three Serbs, two
Bosniaks, one Croat and a UN representative.
Ladun said new registration plates for Brcko vehicles would begin
to be issued from the third week of April.
SFOR Multi-National Division North spokesman Major Robert Johnson
reported on the results so far of operation "Harvest" which
continues until April 15.
In the period from March 29 to April 4, 287 anti-personnel and 138
anti-tank mines, 40 projectiles, 409 rockets and 1052 shells had
