BJELOVAR, Jan 24 (Hina) - After a three-day battle with the flooding
rivers of Ilova and Cesma in the Bjelovar-Bilogora County in
northern Croatia, emergency flood prevention measures and the
state of natural disaster have been lifted Saturday after the
weather conditions have improved.
Electricity has been restored to 30 villages in the Daruvar and
Grubisno Polje area earlier today had no electricity.
Fishponds in Koncanica and Garesnica, private farms and the
Poljodar company in Daruvar suffered the largest damage.
A commission for damage evaluation will be set by Bjelovar county
next week.
