SARAJEVO, Jan 15 (Hina)- Bosnian Federation Prime Minister Edhem
Bicakcic said that an agreement on on tax free imports between the
Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina (FBH) and Croatia would be
dropped if Croatia did not fully comply with its provisions.
Speaking in an interview for Thursday's issue of the Sarajevo based
weekly "Slobodna Bosna", Bicakcic stated that "Croatia pursues a
policy of economic draining of a part of the FBH with Bosniak
(Moslem) majority".
Underwriting of companies in Croat dominated areas of FBH is
equally unacceptable, because it enables Croatian companies to
take over Bosnian property in violation of the Privatization Law,
Bicakcic said.
"Unless the Croatians introduce at least an approximate import
parity we will annul the tax free regime in toto," said the FBH Prime
Minister. He also claimed that such measures have been supported by
Croat ministers in the FBH Government.
