ZAGREB, Jan 12 (Hina) - Croatian and Macedonian Economy Ministers,
Nenad Porges and Boris Rikalovski respectively, on Monday held
talks in Zagreb focusing on the implementation of a free trade
agreement the two countries signed June 9, 1997.
The two ministers assessed the implementation of the agreement as
positive.
Commodity exchange between July and November 1997 was 71 per cent
higher than in the same period a year before, reaching US$107
million. Croatia's export rose 97 per cent, while Macedonia's
export rose 34 per cent.
