ANKARA, May 27 (Hina) - A Balkan political club was established in Sofia on Sunday. Present at the two-day founding session of this non-governmental political organisation were representatives of Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia,
Romania and Turkey. One of founders of the club is a former Turkish president, Suleyman Demirel. Before his departure from the Ankara airport to the Bulgarian capital, Demirel said the Balkan Club's major task would be to help ensure permanent peace and stability in the south-east of Europe.
