KFOR and Kosovska Mitrovica police spokespersons reported today
that two KFOR members and four UN policemen had been lightly injured
when Albanians from Suhadola, a village in the southern part of the
Kosovska Mitrovica municipality, stoned international peace
forces.
According to Albanian sources, the incident erupted when Albanian
residents, angered by a case of control of identification papers,
blocked a local road separating an Albanian and a Serb settlement
and attacked international troops with stones.
