PRISTINA, May 9 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian Catholic Church, Zagreb Archbishop Josip Bozanic, on Wednesday celebrated mass in the St. Nicholas parish in Janjevo, the largest Croatian enclave in the southern Yugoslav province of
Kosovo. Archbishop Bozanic paid tribute to the Kosovo Croat community for centuries of perseverance in that region, saying he came to Janjevo to pray for peace and the future. Kosovo bishop Mark Sopi called on the faithful and all people of good will to work more to achieve tolerance and combat hatred and retaliation. The mass was celebrated in Croatian and Albanian.
