Pavletic said that part of the conflict in Macedonia was partly caused by the unresolved issues of Kosovo and Montenegro. During a meeting with the head of the Sabor Committee on Foreign Affairs, Zdravko Tomac, it was estimated that Croatian President Stjepan Mesic's attempt at peaceful mediation was a well- intentioned move which came at a wrong time. This caused a misunderstanding, but that will not jeopardise the two countries' good friendly relations, the statement quoted the officials as saying. It was agreed that a Croatian parliamentary delegation should visit the Macedonian parliament soon. (hina) rml
