ATHENS, Feb 27 (Hina) - Croatia's Premier Ivica Racan, paying a two-day visit to Greece, and his host, Premier Kostas Simitis, continued their talks at a working dinner in Athens on Tuesday. They exchanged opinions on concrete
projects in the economic cooperation, Athens' support to Croatia's bids to come closer to the European Union and on the stabilisation in the region. According to sources of Croatia's Embassy in Athens, during the talks at the dinner Greek PM expressed his country's interest in the reconstruction of a transformer station in the eastern Croatian village of Ernestinovo, worth 50 million US dollars. This project will ensure the links between Greece and the European power grid. The interlocutors expressed strong interest in the implementation of a project of the construction of the Adriatic-Ionian motor-way. Within this project, Greece is planning to build a 400-kilometre-
long section from Athens to Ioannina at the border with Albania.
A section of this motor-way which will pass through Croatia will be
long 600 kilometres.
