ZAGREB, Jan 24 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament on Wednesday appointed three new parliamentary committees with the House of Representatives: Committee for European Integration, Information, Computerisation and Media Committee, and the
Committee for Equality Between Sexes. Mate Granic of the Democratic Centre party was appointed chairman of the Committee for European Integration and Marin Jurjevic of the Social Democratic Party as the deputy chairman. Zvonimir Sabati of the Croatian Peasants' Party and Josko Kontic (Croatian Social Liberal Party) were appointed chairman and vice-chairman of the Information, Computerisation and Media Committee. Chairwoman of the third committee is Gordana Sobol (Social Democratic Party) while the post of vice-chairman has been left open for a representative of the Croatian Democratic Union.(hina) lml
