ZAGREB, Jan 19 (Hina) - Croatian parliament speaker Zlatko Tomcic on Friday received a delegation of the Croatian Journalists' Association (HND), headed by Dragutin Lucic. The HND delegation informed Tomcic of motions on the
resolution regarding a final bill on Croatian Radio Television, the Croatian parliament's public relations office said in a statement. The Croatian parliament speaker agreed with the majority of motions, and said he could take a standpoint only as one of the representatives or as the president of the Croatian Peasants' Party (HNS), but not as the parliament speaker, because the parliament president did not have particular competence on this matter. Tomcic agreed that the law should be passed as soon as possible and that amendments to the law could make it better, without forwarding the bill to the third reading.
