ZAGREB, Nov 5 (Hina) - Democratic Action Party (SDA) leader Semso Tankovic said on Wednesday that as a candidate of the Bosniak minority he expected a victory at parliamentary elections in constituency no. 12, which is designed for
ethnic minorities.

minority he expected a victory at parliamentary elections in

Speaking at a press conference in Zagreb, Tankovic estimated that
12,000 Bosniaks would go to the polls, and added that if elected, he
would represent the interests of five ethnic groups (Albanians,
Bosniaks, Macedonians, Montenegrins and Slovenes) that nominated
candidates on the minority list.
Asked if he was closer to the leftist or the rightist coalition,
which have emerged as the two main political options in the upcoming
polls, Tankovic said his party had so far cooperated best with the
Liberal Party (LS), the Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS) and the
Croatian People's Party (HNS).
