A sales agreement and a shareholders' agreement will be signed this
afternoon, and Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Medgyessy is
expected to attend the signing ceremony.
The decision to sell a portion of INA to MOL received the unanimous
support of government ministers, who said that the deal was
concluded according to the law, professionally and to INA's
benefit.
The government will ask parliament today to call an extraordinary
session for Friday to discuss INA's privatisation.
The government said it was in favour of disclosing all documents
relating to the sale and would seek permission for that from the
Hungarian partner.
Earlier in the day, four opposition parties -- the HDZ, HSLS, HSP
and DC -- reiterated their demand that the government put the
decision on the sale of INA on hold until parliament discussed the
issue.
