BANJA LUKA, Dec 1 (Hina) - The parliament of the Bosnian Serb entityhas adopted at its ongoing session changes to the rules of procedurewhich are adjusted to constitutional amendments on all peoples livingin Republika Srpska being
equal, under which three languages areofficially used in parliament.
BANJA LUKA, Dec 1 (Hina) - The parliament of the Bosnian Serb entity
has adopted at its ongoing session changes to the rules of procedure which are
adjusted to constitutional amendments on all peoples living in Republika Srpska
being equal, under which three languages are officially used in
parliament.The rules of procedure define as official "languages spoken by Serbs,
Bosniaks and Croats" and as official scripts the Cyrillic and Latin scripts.
Before the latest changes, the Serb language was the official language and the
Cyrillic script was the official script.
Under the new rules of procedure, parliament has a president and two
vice-presidents from among different peoples.
