Glavas, who is serving a prison term in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, for war crimes in Osijek, was unanimously re-elected by 1,600 delegates who gathered for this convention.
A letter which Glavas sent from the prison was read out at the gathering. In his letter he said that the Hague tribunal's judgement in the case of Croatian generals was unjust but was not surprising given the Croatian policy.
Glavas is the founder of the HDSSB civil society association. There is also the HDSSB parliamentary party.
