The three associations called on the public to urge the Government and Parliament not to repeal the right to abortion in any case or change the law to make abortion difficult.
The statement said the examples of other countries proved that making abortion illegal increased women's mortality.
According to World Health Organisation figures, between 80,000 and 200,000 women die annually due to illegal, poorly performed abortions.
The joint statement read that churches and other religious communities cannot and must not impose their values to the whole society and the state as absolute truths.
