"We have established that there are reasonable grounds for suspicion that the agents acted unprofessionally," subcommittee chairwoman Dorotea Pesic-Bukovac said after a closed session.
The subcommittee will compile a report with conclusions on the case on the basis of today's interview of Helena Puljiz and send them to the parliamentary Human Rights and Ethnic Minorities' Rights Committee, which is likely to consider the matter next week.
Puljiz told reporters that she had accepted the subcommittee's invitation for the interview as she hoped that there were bodies in the parliament which would help her to protect her rights and freedom, stipulated by the Constitution, as well as the freedom of the media in the country.
She reiterated that she had never undermined the national security and that the POA agents had no reason to interrogate her in October.
