Vukelic said an investment and exports stimulation agency called Croatia Invest would start operating by the end of the year with a view to attracting more foreign investment.
He also said the Government was taking concrete steps to increase the competitiveness of the Croatian economy in Europe and the world.
The minister thanked Germany for its economic, technical and expert assistance, and said economic relations between Croatia and Germany were very good, with Germany being Croatia's second biggest trade partner.
Staks applauded the establishment of Croatia Invest and announced more intensive contacts between Croatian and German business people.
