BRUSSELS, Nov 2 (Hina) - The Chief Prosecutor of the InternationalCriminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Carla del Ponte,will visit the NATO headquarters in Brussels on Wednesday and addressthe North Atlantic Council, comprised of NATO member statesambassadors.
BRUSSELS, Nov 2 (Hina) - The Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Carla del Ponte, will visit the NATO headquarters in Brussels on Wednesday and address the North Atlantic Council, comprised of NATO member states ambassadors.

"The chief prosecutor will address the North Atlantic Council tomorrow," officials in NATO's public relations office told Hina on Tuesday.

Del Ponte is expected to inform NATO member countries of cooperation of Former Yugoslav republics with the ICTY.

One of the conditions for joining NATO is full cooperation with the Hague based tribunal.

Del Ponte will also hold talks with NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.
